AquaCat Containers is headquartered at 1 Compensation Drive, Ballito, 4390, KwaZulu-Natal. Our yard holds a live selection of refrigerated containers available for immediate hire. You can walk in, inspect units, and get a quote on the spot — no appointment needed.
From the N2: Take the Ballito / Compensation Drive exit. Turn towards Ballito town. We are on Compensation Drive, approximately 800 metres from the highway off-ramp.
From the M4: Head inland on Compensation Drive from the beachfront junction. Our yard is on your right before the N2 overpass.
Walk-in hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. Unit viewing, on-site walk-around, and same-day quote available.

Our Ballito yard puts us at the centre of the North Coast corridor. Whether you are in a beachfront estate or a farm 50 kilometres inland, we can reach you.
Umhlanga & La Mercy
Our closest southern delivery zone. Umhlanga is a 20-minute drive down the N2 from our Ballito yard, and La Mercy is en route. Units can typically be on site within 24 to 48 hours.
Ballito Our Yard
We are based here. Same-day delivery is possible within Ballito itself. Walk in to view stock at 1 Compensation Drive, Monday to Friday.
Salt Rock & Shakas Rock
Immediately north of Ballito on the M4. Delivery to Salt Rock and Shakas Rock is a short run up the coastal road and is typically within 48 hours.
Sheffield Beach & Tinley Manor
Quiet residential and agricultural pockets just north of Salt Rock. We service these areas regularly and delivery is within 1 to 2 business days.
Zimbali Estate
Zimbali is 5 minutes up the N2 from our yard. We coordinate access with estate management ahead of delivery and have a strong record of servicing resort and residential clients within the estate.
Tongaat
Tongaat lies just inland from the coast, with significant agricultural and food-processing activity. Delivery from Ballito is under 30 minutes and typically within 48 hours of order confirmation.
KwaDukuza / Stanger
The commercial hub of the upper North Coast, approximately 35 minutes from our Ballito yard. We serve butcheries, pharmacies, and agricultural operations throughout KwaDukuza. Delivery within 1 to 2 business days.
Mandeni
An industrial and rural area north of KwaDukuza. We deliver to Mandeni within 1 to 2 business days from our Ballito yard and can accommodate remote site access requirements.
Princes Grant

Independent butchery, KwaDukuza
A family-run butchery needed additional cold storage during a refrigeration unit upgrade. We delivered a reefer container to their yard while their main cold room was offline, keeping their meat stock compliant and their business trading without interruption.
Holiday resort, Zimbali
During the December peak season, a coastal resort needed overflow cold storage to handle the volume of food and beverages coming through their kitchen. We placed a unit on site for the season and coordinated delivery through estate security in advance.
Fruit and vegetable farm, Tongaat
A Tongaat farming operation required on-site cold storage at the point of harvest to reduce spoilage before transport to market. We installed a genset-ready reefer unit directly in the field, levelled on concrete blocks, and the unit has been running on a rolling monthly agreement since.
Corporate event, Ballito
A large outdoor catering event on the North Coast contacted us with less than a week's notice. We supplied two reefer units to the event venue in Ballito, supported the setup, and collected the units as soon as the event concluded. Short-notice, short-term hire is something we handle regularly.
Community pharmacy, Umhlanga
When a pharmacy's cold room failed during a stock replenishment window, they needed a temperature-controlled alternative immediately. We delivered a reefer unit to their loading area the same day and they were able to receive and store their vaccine and insulin stock without disruption to patient supply.
Retail food store, Salt Rock
A growing independent food retailer in Salt Rock needed additional refrigerated capacity during their peak trading months. A rented reefer unit in the back of their premises gave them the overflow cold storage they needed without committing to a permanent build-out.
